Sam Knolton Jr.

Pastor Sam Bryant Knolton, Jr. discovered his calling to ministry and music at a young age. Raised in a Pentecostal household, he developed a deep passion for God's Word and a desire to impact lives.
His musical journey began at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, where he played drums and organ. The Knolton family later joined Greater Love Tabernacle COGIC under Bishop William Rimson, before his father, Sam Sr., became pastor of Greater Bethesda Healing Springs COGIC for 32 years.
Inspired by his father's devotion, Sam Jr. pursued his own path in ministry. In 2015, he was consecrated an Elder and is presently known for his practical and engaging teaching style. Pastor Sam helps congregants apply scripture to daily life through various means; including social media and radio.
Pastor Sam's talents extend across a variety of roles as he is CEO of Pinnacle Contractors, specializing in church renovations. He leads the family legacy as Senior Pastor of Greater Bethesda Life Church and Founder and CEO of the Greater Bethesda Life Center. He also serves as the AIM Chairman and Evangelism President for the Great Lakes First Jurisdiction. Sam is the proud father of three adult sons: Sam, III, Sterling, and Shane. Pastor Sam and his wife, Lady Jewel reside in Southfield where together they are raising David, III and Lauren Victoria.
